What We Can Help With
- Corrections. Accuracy matters to us. If you believe something in a guide is wrong or outdated, tell us which article and what you found, and we will review it against our sources and fix it if needed.
- Topic suggestions. Is there a bird, a behavior, or a backyard question we have not covered? Suggestions from readers regularly become full guides.
- Feedback on our tools. If the Bird Identifier or another tool gave you a confusing result, let us know what you searched for so we can improve it.
- Advertising and partnerships. For business inquiries, use the same address and put “Partnership” in the subject line.
A Note About Injured or Orphaned Wildlife
We cannot provide emergency help for injured, sick, or orphaned animals, and email is far too slow for a bird that needs care now. If you have found an animal in distress, please contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitator in your area right away. In the United States, you can find one through your state wildlife agency or the Animal Help Now directory at ahnow.org.
Before You Write
Trying to identify a mystery bird? Our free Bird Identifier can often answer the question in under a minute: pick the color, size, and your region, and it narrows down the likely species. For everything else, our full guide library covers hundreds of species and backyard questions.
